Reagents for the MIDSTREAM sector
Midstream is an intermediate stage, involving the transportation of oil and gas by main pipelines, by rail or road transport, sea tankers and the transportation of petroleum products and liquefied gases.
State-owned enterprise "Transneft" carries out the transportation of petroleum and petroleum products by pipelines in Russia. The transportation of oil by pipelines is a cheap and environmentally friendly type of transportation operating all year-round.
The transportation by rail is more expensive than by pipeline, but also less expensive than road transportation. Petrochemical products, which are dangerous or difficult to transport by road, usually transported by rail.
Tank trucks for the transportation of petroleum products are usually used to carry smaller capacities of oil for short distances. This is a flexible transportation method requiring many permissions. Pour point depressants
Depressors NEFTEDAR DP801-804 (DIREX G801-804) series are complex mixtures of modified polymers, designed to reduce the flow point of petroleum products, the pour point of fuel oil, high-paraffin crude oil, high pour point oil, also for viscosity reduction of oil during production and transportation by pipelines. Thanks to pour point depressants the number of sediments in pipelines and reservoirs is reduced and the pumpability of raw materials is significantly increased.
Oil spill dispersants
In the case of oil spills, there is a thin oil film that must be eliminated in several ways: thermal method (only in the case of small film thickness and lack of wind, there is a risk of fire and possibility of the formation of carcinogenic combustion products); mechanical method (the spill is cleaned with special equipment, but some of the oil remains in the water); biological method (expensive and long-standing process); physicochemical method using chemical means (dispersants). This product can be used in all weather conditions, with its help oil films are quickly, efficiently and environmentally friendly decomposed into the smallest drops and subsequently eliminated. Dispersion occurs instantly, formed drops are not toxic and fully biodegradable.
Detergents for storage tanks and tankers
During operation process storage tanks, containers, tankers and other equipment are unavoidably contaminated by oil products. This is also happening during transportation, storage, repairing of pipelines and during oil spill at the production, transportation and processing sites. Professional Chemistry (special detergents) is used to eliminate oil pollution from equipment or container. Thanks to detergents, oil is completely removed from the equipment, thus cleaning and allowing to use the container again. Cleaning the tanks from petroleum and petroleum products with specialized professional chemistry is the most convenient and optimal option.
